Voyage by Neo Vida Dance Company
Save the dates and catch Voyage from Friday 5 & Saturday 6 April 2019.
Neo Vida, present "Voyage". Neo Vida is a well-known Sunshine Coast dance company. Honouring painters and redefining an artist across media and performance art, Neo Vida’s performance of “Voyage” is thought-provoking.
“Voyage” interprets the subject matter or narrative content of various paintings into an expression of dance. The paintings are the inspiration and storyline. Costumes and characters will be portraying the figures, landscapes or feelings in the paintings. The dancers will conscientiously reference the textures and colours of the chosen artwork. This will transform the artwork into beautiful images on stage as conveyed by the dance.
